Western coast of Europe for a beginner (late sept)

Hi guys,
So I'm from the UK and I've done about three weeks of surfing, and am very much a beginner, I'm catching waves can often get to my feet, probably the biggest swells I've done are 5ft.
So my company just realised a policy saying we can remote work from anywhere basically as long as it doesn't impact our job, and I'm wanting to make the most of this opportunity while it lasts (expect they'll change it)
Wanting to drive down with my dog and Airbnb for a month or so, where is good on the west coast that will allow me to build confidence as a beginner but also give me good head room to grow as I develop?
Also it'd be ideal if the location isn't too dependant on tide for good surf as I will likely be able to do 6:30-8am or 5-7pm everyday.
Thinking anywhere south of france, northern Spain, or northern Portugal.
