Maldives ilate October

Hey guys, I'm thinking about heading to the Maldives for 2 weeks surf in the end of October.
Is coke's beach Maldives (previously coke's surf shack) a good option? Or would you suggest other options? I prefer lefthanders (and coke's a right but that's ok too).

Also, should I
a) take my longboard/s
b) take a smaller board
c) rent a board there?
