I wish to travel to Peru in Sept. Anyone else going?

Postby Plumtuckered » Tue Mar 15, 2016 6:19 am

Hi

I am headed off to Peru sometime in September and I am going solo. Is anyone else headed that way that is going on their own and would like to hook up? I can help share cost.

My friends have to work and I can go at this time. I like to surf waves that are head to slightly overhead or smaller. I just want to have fun. If anyone is headed out and looking for another, please e-mail me. Thanks
Anything anyone can tell me about Peru? For example the people, country, food and the surf? Thanks
Desi

Hi Plum or is it tuckered, it would probably be good to let the forum know roughly where you are base as we come from all over the world, there is possibly a surf buddy here for, just be a little security conscious as we do get some trolls passing through and you may get spammed. Use our PM service it's a lot safer than posting your email address. :D
Good luck in travels
I've taken up troll hunting just for fun, instead of a rifle I'll just use a pun! 冲浪爷爷

We are planning to visit Peru in May 2016 on a ]holiday trip by arriving in Lima. Plan to take the FCCA train to Huancayo and from there to Cusco, MP etc. I've tried to find a train route from Huancayo to Aguas Clients but failed. Maybe there is no train route? We really don't want to return to Lima then take a flight to Cusco. How about renting a car with driver from Huancayo to Aguas Calientes? Thanks in advance for any help and information.

I want to go for Peru but not in September because those days I will be busy and have planned that what to do. Anyway, best of luck for your tour and surely it will be great time to go for Peru for you and you will see the lovely views of Machu Picchu.

September is Winter here though it's not too cold, gets pretty chilly, 15°C coldest, same with water temp, surf from capital city Lima, 45km south (where we are) on up north all the way to lobitos, further north it's not surf season, check out Lima nd south of Lima for waves, huanchaco, chicama, Pacasmayo and lobitos, the bigger places to find propper accomodation and internet and surf atmosphere. if any questions let me know,
hope you guys have fun over here,
