Anyone been to Peniche, or specifically Peniche surf camp? Could you tell me what it was like?

Cheers,

Bert. :D

and scroll down the page there are some places which I'm considering to go, but I can not rate them since I've never been there.

Hi:

I was there, Peniche Surf Camp, last year in august. Place is nice, nice people. It's a walk to the beach along the road - the beach you see on the photos right in front of the house is not surfable. There are not a lot of places to go out, but I was surprised how tired I was anyway...

Waves in august were a mess, tough to get out. But what doesn't kill you makes you stronger, later I was in Costa Rica and suddenly surfing was a breeze, so I guess I did learn something.

Cheers
