Postby spaddywaddy » Thu Mar 14, 2013 2:25 pm

I'm looking for a good performance longboard which is super light, but strong. Any recommendations?

Spaddy what's your experience? Height and weight, there are some recommendations but they balance a bit on the numbers, sort things a shaper could work with!
BTW where are you based, could be a clue too! :D

Crikey, that old BS term 'performance' raises its head again... think of 'performance' longboard in this sense i.e.for doing a bunch of stage tricks... the industry likes to pretend that' performance refers to something more useful like speed and control, but it's all based on tricks for points.

Noun
An act of staging or presenting a play, concert, or other form of entertainment.

A person's rendering of a dramatic role, song, or piece of music.

Really every surf is a performance, the surfer doing what they to, to the ideas in their head.
What is the performance you wish to do Spaddy?
No board performs unless there is a surfer riding them.
It's about finding the board that enables you to do your stuff, so violin cello tuba, what's it to be? :woot:

BTW in lots of ways I agree with Roy, every website board advertisement promises you the board will do miraculous things, the trick to this is only if you can :!: :!:
