hi,
depends where abouts in Cornwall you are i guess, I've only been around Newquay, but there seems to be surf at one or other of the beaches there pretty much every day. I usually end up at a place called Mawgan Porth just outside newquay, Nice beach, beginner friendly waves most of the time, good food, nice place to stay, and a great surf school there as well, If you want more details feel free to pm me.
Got to say im a little jealous of you living there.. im trying to make the move from Scotland, but its proving hard to find house, work etc all at the same time...
enjoy it anyway, moving just before summer, best time

Hi,
I'm living in a place called torpoint so right on the devon /cornwall border (Cornwall side) haha! Not to bad newquay is only 40 minutes away so that's well worth a little drive. I would love to know if there is any good surf spots by me or by st austall? I lived in Scotland for 3 years by Inverness as was in the military up there. Cold!!! Haha. You will have to let me know when you move down we can arrange a surf meet.

magicseaweed has a lot of spots on it, as does the surf map on this site, im unfortunate enough to live in probably the only spot in the uk with has 0 waves... just outside glasgow, ireland blocks everything.
Just waiting to hear back about a job interview i had last week in redruth, so hopefully that will work out:-)
If not i make it down there about once a month from april - october :-)

would recomend www.kingsurf.co.uk if you need some lessons or whatever, great bunch of lads, (and alice), and they have just taken on Russ Winter as a coach (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russell_Winter)

Yeah magicseaweed is the app I use on my phone. Yeah when I lived up there it wasent particularly good and there is really no such thing as a 'surf scene' which sucks abit. Good luck with the job interview bud! Hope it goes well. redruth is good, close to most major sites. Yeah I've had a lesson there before! Very good I must say, highly recommended. I do fancy the one to one tuition for 2 and a half hours. Would benefit from that immensely! Like I said dude if you come down this end drip me a message on here or something and we will do a meet.
