Hello everyone! I just started surfing about a month ago and I'm totally loving the sport. I surf in San Diego which is located in southern tip of California just before Mexico. I try to paddle out at least 2-3 times a week. I grew up here. I used to bodyboard a lot when I was younger and I was quite good too. But school and then my career took over my life and I had completely abandoned the beach life for many years. It wasn't until recently when a few friends and I started to hanging around a few bars next to the beach that I realized how much I loved being near the water. So to make a long story short, I decided to start surfing. I've only been doing it for about a month now but I'm totally loving it, and I'm barely catching any waves out there. I'm having quite a battle learning at the moment because I am forced to learn on a small board. I'm currently riding a 6' quad fish. Why? because it's the longest, wides, and thickest board I can fit in my car. I drive a little roadster. Although it is difficult I'm enjoying the learning process. Anyway, that's my story.
