Hi all!

My name is Sunny and I'm hoping to get back into surfing and make it a daily habit if I can. I'm not really allowed to go out surfing by myself anymore so hopefully if there is anyone nearby that wants a surfing buddy, let me know.

I have short boards, long boards (preferred) and I'll still use the funboard that made is so everyone that I know has asked me to never go out alone again Yes, dumb to go out alone but I never seem to meet any other surfers that will head out with me... with the exception of a meetup group but they're too far away now.

Looking forward to meeting any of you and gaining more surfing knowledge to put to use by reading up here

Ah... haha... I went out by myself to get some practice in using the funboard. I didn't want to burden the meetup group since the line up they like to meet was sooo crowded rather intimidating I thought it would help a bit. I ended up getting injured pretty badly but I was able to walk away though pretty stunned and intact for the most part ^_^;

omg that story sounds scary. Yeah don't go out alone lol but I think you learned that XD. Anyways, I have a few friends who go out pretty often to Newport; you should totally try to befriend some of the surfers out, they're all super friendly! I tag along sometimes but I'm still a huuuuge newbie so it's a process lol
