Long sleeved rash vest

Postby Gando » Sat Aug 19, 2006 3:10 pm

Hi there, I'm looking to get a rash vest as my neck can't cope anymore :D I live in Scotland so it prob won't be long til I need one for warmth reasons anyway. Don't really want to have to get two so hoping for some thoughts.
Do I just get a thermal one now and potentially roast for a couple of months? And do long sleeved ones get a bit of a nuisance when it comes to putting wetsuit on? thinking it might be a plan as water goes up my sleeves quite a bit but wasn't sure if it would be more hassle than it's worth?

Thanks!

I've got an O'neills long-sleeved one, and an Alder fleece-lined short sleeved one and the short sleeved one is enough for all but the coldest temperatures.

The long sleeved one can be a bit of pain - getting gloves on and in the right place can be a bit tricky with cold, wet hands and it holds quite a lot of water between the rashie and the suit. So I stick to the short sleeved one whenever possible 8)
