Hairline crack inbetween screw and finbox.

Postby Jojlegg » Fri Jul 01, 2022 7:35 pm

Hi, my fin snapped off (still don't know how it happened) and it left a small hairline crack.

I was wondering, does this need to be repaired or will I be fine leaving it, if it does need to be repaired, how would I do so?

From the video, i can't tell what or where the crack is. Can you take a close up still photo.

Is it a Boardworks molded-epoxy board ?

Now viewing on my home computer I can see the crack appears in the grub screw hole. How tight is the grub screw when tightening down on the fin ?
