Ripcurl Flashbomb E5: size up or down?

Postby Soulmancer » Sun Feb 25, 2018 8:35 pm

I'm kind of in that ML/LS range ... but I can buy a large or a medium at the shop... large sizing chart shows I'm perfect measurements for that suit in the chest and waist area... though for weight, height, arm and leg length I'm close to a medium....

try them on. smaller suits stretch a lot, bigger suits will fit smaller bodies (because they fit, but just dont need to stretch). always buy the suit that fits your shoulders, otherwise you end up with painful shoulders and hate paddling.

That is such good advice. I wish I had had that in mind before I first started trying on different wetsuits. The other trick is to get the fit in your wetsuit when it's dry to match up with the fit you want when it's wet.
