my first board was a bic 6'7 shortboard, but now im ridin on a al merrick 6'3 flyer... soon i hope toi get enough money to buy an al merrick mbm though

im about to shape my own flyer imitation. ive heard they ride kinda sluggish. do you think that?

i like mine because around where i live the waves i a bit mushy and it can cut right through that. for me atleast, it can keep the speed up

hey gulfsurfer-

what do you use the 6'8" for mostly. it seems like it has a ton of volume and might be good for the mush.

o yea i finally got some pics of my sticks.

Ya the 6'8 is for mush, but i rode it during katrina and it was still really good in bigger surf. Next board i get shaped will probably be something about 6'1 x 19 1/4" x 2"

Same 8'6 as above, but a TUFLITE construction from SurfTech.
