It's gone right slow...

Postby drowningbitbybit » Mon Jan 22, 2007 3:52 pm

Ive had a lot of problems getting onto the site over the last few days - its either been really really slow, or I've not been able to connect and Ive got an error message that says something like 'error phBB, can't connect to server' :?

Something up?

The site has been getting too busy and it has started causing a few problems. The hosting people have made a few changes so hopefully things should be back to normal now.
Keep letting me know if you have problems.

Just wanted to say that the site has seemed to be way faster now for the last couple of days. Love it! Keep up all the hard work, we all appreciate it.

anyone notice it being slow? Maybe its cause I am in the states but more often than not, If I click a link to goto the main forum section or to open a link I can go surf come back and I'll be lucky if the page is loaded.. ok a bit exaggerated but it really is slow. I have to open a link and goto another webpage while it loads.

am I the only one?

Nope, its been a wee bit slow for me too.
Not disastrously so, but enough that I'll flick onto another site while the SW page loads. :?

50 seconds

I will have to have a look at this. If people could post here when they find it is slow, then I can look at what was happening at the time.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

i have found it slow recently but not today - when I logged on the the first page it looked all funny though. Everything was out of order and there were no links. Just the front page with info and pics of the last meet that you put together.

I keep getting pages with half the stuff round the outside missing, or a giant advert with nothing else when it should be on general chat or soemthing (when I'm logged in) and the message "error on page" - it's been doing this for a few days now :?
