I've not been to OBX but I did some research previously. It is very cold and windy during the winter. As the owner also mentioned that the peak season isn't that long. Saying that, I would think Florida would be much more suitable for you but everything is overpriced. Full of rich people retiring there.

I also think you would probably really love somewhere like Puerto Rico, it has all the outdoor activities you need but probably not so great healthcare.

As saltydog mentioned, it does not have good SEO (search engine optimization) which means you need to improve it so it will appear in major search sites. These days most of the popular and profitable surf camps/shops have instagram, facebook, yelp, tripadvisor and google reviews. They invest a lot of time into social networking. Which doesn't seem to be be the case here. But perhaps I'm wrong and they do get a lot of customers during the summer season and are well known at their location.

That's normal for NYC. Summer is short so they only have 2-3 months of income from lessons. Plus you have to understand that it is all relative. You earn a lot more but the expense is also much higher compared to UK. It took me awhile to adapt to this.

Please do your research thoroughly on this on this sale hasn‘t had replies or any other action for two years.

There have been others on the forum too, often in foreign countries, consider, local tax laws expat ownership, Indonesia is particularly challenging!

With any large sale , my advice is to investigate the sale with due diligence about all the issues surrounding the sale.
That is not trolling, a number of forumites went to review your website and were not convinced of your situation.
Others found no contact with your reported address, all non trolling!
Remarking about your absence from the,forum also not trolling

You question our interests and financial status without knowledge = trolling.
nonetheless the advice given is prudent, any potential buyers can make their choices as they wish, and also PM you to find out the detail and do business!

Thanks for the reply , your question is not a problem, just simple advice to anybody considering a large real estate purchase , there are 4 surf schools / camps and resorts for sale on this page alone.
I was sad that the vendor of SSSL felt that we we were trolling him. Just prudent advice, as I have had friends from Australia lose much of their money in resorts elsewhere ( in particular Indonesia).

SSSL still exist several post up, you can use the PM facility on that to establish details of a personal link.
