Very condition dependent but can be a good wave for more advanced surfers comfortable with a fairly intimidating paddle out if not familiar. S/SE swell N/NW wind, mid-tide. No parking. Not a beginners spot regardless of wave height. Like your board, your life, wait till you've got some experience. Watch for a while after honing your skills at one of the more appropriate spots like 1st & 2nd beaches, both minutes away w/easy parking, free spots before 8 midweek.
Tricky. Should be with someone familiar w/spot
All of the above. Reasonable camping 10-15 min away at Mellvile campground. Fantastic camping for $14 per night(instate, $20+/- out of state across the bridge and surrounded by a dozen or more spots, some great and minutes away. That's Burlingame(so?) campground in south county. Hotels are pricey in season but cheaper further from beaches.
Access is tricky and not obvious. Parking is non-existent.
Plenty
Again, plenty.
