General Description

Every different beach on the south side of the island has different optimum tides, conditions, etc. Best time with best waves is in the winter, but water temp is in the low 40s. Summer is ok, small and not always consistent but beaches can be insanely crowded

How to get there

Most any beach on the south side. Best are Cisco and Nobadeer

Where to Stay

There are some hotels, most people rent houses or stay with friends

Access & Parking Info / Cost

No cost, quick paddle out, limited parking in the summer but winter is pretty empty

Equipment Hire

Force 5 water sports is ok but Indian summer is best

Surf Schools

ACK surf or nantucket surf school

When its Flat?

Town is always fun, cisco brewers is great for families, plenty of restaurants, and beaches are nice just to hang out at
