An perfect beach break left, with long pipelines at a low tide,
Best wind, south.
From Villaviciosa there are two ways to get there:
-Going to Rodiles beach (indicated), about 10 km.
-In the direcction to "El Puntal", small town. Right here, park your car and walk 500meters surrounding the sea water lagoon, then jump to the spot from the seawall.
Option 1: Parking at rodiles beach is not free in summer, but its easy and free the rest of the year. The paddle out from the beach is harder, though.
Option 2: Limited parking at Urbanización Gema del Mar (on the west side of the river). In theory it is a private residential area, but you can cross it and park at the bottom (cul de sac). From there, you can cross the lagoon, then the jetty, and jump. The river current will take you out on to the peak in seconds.
Yes, Surf Shack open during the summer. Sells bits of clothing, limited surfing accessories etc.
Classes run from the Surf shack at 11.30/12 with a second class at 4pm if numbers permit. Discounts applied on second/third lessons

This box isn't big enough!! The area has lots of climbing/walking/biking/canoeing etc. It's an outdoor enthusiasts dream! Failing that go try one of the menu del Dias at any one of the local restaurant (go to Tazones for seafood!!) and wash it down with thd local sidra.
