A Rocky beach break, not so great for beginners. Bunkers is the most popular and consistent spot at Cayton Bay. This spot works on a north swell and a mid to high tide is best.
Bunkers is so called due to the old World War II bunkers on the beach.
Gets really busy during at weekends and holidays.
Get to Cayton Bay on Filey Road. You'll see the bay coming out of Scarborough at the top of the hill.
You can park at the bay but you have to bay.
