New Zealand surfer Richard Christie (Mahai) had a strong round three heat win in the Billabong Pro Teen running at Manu Bay Raglan today. He defeated highly rated Australians Ashley King (NSW) and Rueben Levett (Qld) in the excellent 1.5m waves. Christie will face three more Australians in round 4 - Blake Wilson (Qld), Jayke Sharpe (NSW) and Nick Riley (NSW)
