The Surf Screen in association with Attla will be presenting a mid week meditation featuring; a premiere screening of the brand new surf film Picaresque, great tunes, art, book signing (Rodger Mansfield / The Surfing Tribe) and fine dining (bbq/popcorn) on Thursday 30th July from 7pm at the Attla Store, 1 Castle Street, Truro, TR1 3DL.
Picaresque, the hotly anticipated new movie from Mikey De Temple and Dustin Miller, will be screening from 8.30pm onwards. Picaresque (touring across the UK over the summer with The Surf Screen) is a step into a new generation of surfing talent. The film unveils an unseen and under ground side of longboarding, documenting a fresh crew of surfers from around the globe cut to a contemporary upbeat soundtrack.
Shot in Australia, America (California, Florida, New England, New York), France, Mainland Mexico, Costa Rica, Picaresque provides a broad spectrum of cultural and geographical backdrops to some of the most innovative approaches to this new school of waveriding. Surfers featured include: Harrison Roach, Christian Wach, Scotty Stopnik, Tommy Wit, Matty Chojnacki, Chris Christenson, Mikey DeTemple, Chad Doyle, Rob Kulisek, Alek Parker, Eli and Bucky Berry.
