Surfing the Mediterranean in Alexandria Egypt

Surfing The Nations and Jedidiah Clothing will be launching a group to Egypt, Jordan and Israel on November 27th until December 24th to 'give back' to these nations.

Egypt, home of the great pyramids, the sphinx and the fertile river bed of the Nile river, is also home to some of the most premiere waves on the Mediterranean coast.

December 5th-6th, 2008, Surfing The Nations in partnership with the Egyptian Surfing Federation and Jedidiah Clothing will be helping promote the first ever surf contest in Alexandria, Egypt, connecting with the local surf community and making surf history!  Over fifty local surfers and  body boarders are projected to participate in this event.

In addition to hosting this event Surfing The Nations will be bringing clothes, toys and simple medical supplies to the people in 'garbage city, in Cairo, in the old city of Jerusalem as well as Tel Aviv.

The surf community in Tel Aviv is alive and thriving and welcomes new surfers from around the world.  The Surfing The Nations group will surf locations such as the Hilton, Casinos, the Dolphinarium, as well as breaks in the city of Haifa. The goal is to build relationships within the surf community and serve the needy is what the goal in love."
