Joss Ash from Bude wins the Biggest Arial Manoeuvre at the Animal Expression Session held last weekend at Fistral beach. Joss who recently had a short break away from competition has come back inform beating the best of the rest including his younger brother Reubyn, a world-renowned Aerial specialist.
In the Most Powerful move category local surfer, Tom Butler took the honours. Tom has just returned from competing in Chile, he used his experience to outclass the other surfers to take first place.
The Most Radical Manoeuvre was much closer; Russell Winter held the lead up until the final moments of the final when St Merryn's Toby Donachie preformed an Air-rotation to receive the prize.
The first Fistral Hightide Expression session sponsored by Animal and Fistral Beach cafe was a great success and providing a great opportunity for spectators to see contemporary surfing by some of the best surfers in the UK up close.
In the best Female Move UK Pro Surf Tour Champion Hannah Harding narrowly defeated local surfer Holly Donnelly to take the award.
The event encouraged surfers to push their abilities and be rewarded financially for the best manoeuvres preformed. Prizes were given for the Biggest Arial, the Most Powerful Manoeuvre, the Most Radical turn and best Manoeuvre preformed by a Female surfer.
