6.0 Cash for Tricks - Play for Glory

After a successful year in 2010, the Nike 6.0 Cash for Tricks is stepping it up to become a European series across Spain, Portugal, England and France.

With five elimination events and an International Final - along with a prize purse of 80,000€ - this year’s series promises to deliver some highly creative and innovative surfing.

Different from standard surfing contests, the Nike 6.0 Cash for Tricks criteria is derived from a popular skateboarding format where mind blowing tricks get rewarded with cash. The concept is real simple… the bigger, more technical the trick is, the more money the competitors get.

Aside from the competition, Nike 6.0 Cash for Tricks is also about having fun with a live DJ pumping out some rocking tunes to create a summer beach party vibe.

Last year’s contests boasted some of the biggest names in progressive surfing with Joan Duru (FRA), Gabriel Medina (BRA), Reubyn Ash (GBR) and Brent Dorrington (AUS) all leaving the beach with first place honors.

The Nike 6.0 Cash for Tricks series is dedicated to Bruno Debauche, brainchild of the event.
