Also representing for Animal in the womens division will be Easkey Britton, who featured in the epic 2009 surf film Waveriders. Easkey will also be making a return to the Animal Newquay Open and is excited to be at the Animal event
"I was here in 2008 but unfortunately could not make last year's event and missed the good waves. There will be a few of us Irish girls making the trip and we hope we can put on a good show" said Easkey.
The 1 star event supported by Animal will host the Men's Open, Women's Open, Under 16 Boys division and the Pro Junior category with a prize purse of over £2,000! Make no mistake the competition will be hotly contested across all categories as it is the climax to the Tour, which has seen the Uk's top surfers travel throughout the UK to this final showdown; The Animal Newquay Open.
Dave Reed, Director UK PSA comments,
"It is great to have one of the UK's leading surf brands, Animal supporting the tour, sponsoring the concluding and deciding event."

We look forward to continuing our work with the UK PSA in highlighting the talent and developing the quality of British surfing".
