PLA Welcomes Ocean Current Clothing as Official Sponsor to the America's Open of Longboarding

April 30, 2010- The Professional Longboard Association is pleased to announce that they have come to an agreement with Ocean Current Clothing as an official sponsor to the America's Open of Longboarding, the 6-star PLA event to be held in Huntington Beach on June 4-6, 2010.

Ocean Current, currently also sponsors the USBA and the US Open of Bodyboarding which will be one of two partners (the other being the AVP) at the June PLA event. "From an event standpoint, the request for sponsorship from Ocean Current was a no brainer for us, it's a great company that supports longboarding, and with their ties into the event already through the USBA, it only gives more branding and outreach opportunity for them. They are great for the surf community, and I'm excited to be working with them on this event", said Jeff Stoner, Executive Director for the PLA.

The details of the agreement remain undisclosed at this time, but the PLA mentioned that Ocean Current will have their major setup at the USBA area of the event, and still have some major branding seen throughout the PLA event setup.
