In a new book by a man that has shaped the surfing industry as it is today, more than 180 surfers have been profiled. All have had a significant impact on the surfing world, from Duke Kahanamoku to Kelly Slater. Pioneering surfriders, pipeline masters, board builders, tow-in surfing giants and women waveriders, surfing's media and counterculture are all included.

Part picture book, part biography and reference guide, Legends of Surfing is packed with over 200 photographs by Jeff Divine. Other images come from the scrapbooks of legendary surfers themselves as well as archives of other master shooters. In exclusive interviews, Stellar surfers such as Andy and Bruce Irons, Duke Kahanamoku, Lisa Andersen, and Kelly Slater give us a rare first hand look at what it's like to live to surf.

Author Duke Boyd is himself a legend of surfing-he's co-founder of Hang Ten surf wear and his current Duke Boyd surf line. He's also one of the few people anywhere who knew many of the surf pioneers as well as champions of today. There's never been a surfing book like this; with interviews and rare photos that only surfing insider Duke Boyd could collect.
