i got a PM asking me for the how to make a board so i thought id post it on herefor any one who wants it .......

go for it all u need is.(simple version)

a saw
a tape measure
wood glue
a heavy wood file (if you can get hold of a surfourm (not sure of spelling)
a fine wood file
sandpaper
a drill
a countersink drill bit and a very small normal drill bit
some 1 inch screws
woodvarnish
sandpaper and small block of wood

the dimensions are 39" x 12" x 3/4"

first if the piece of plywood is bigger than that cut it down to those dimensions

sand down corners too make the nice rounded edges (make sure very smooth)

then use the edges of your board as a template to make the blocks/stoppers .

use the coounter sink drill head to make your holes to screw the tail blocks to the main board .

sand all down and stick or spray your own design on it ,get some exterior clear varnish and for the first coat mix it 60/20 with some white spirits and then leave 24 hours for the best drying and then do another coat of just the varnish (may need two) !

oh and find some 6" diameter pipe for the best working...(most bulding sites have these readily availible at a 'cheap'price!) good luck i dont think ive missed anything out if you need anymore help give us a shout (if ive missed anythin give us a nother shout!)

If you have any pipe fence around you, then you can walk it and that helps balance alot..(try not to rack yourself)
