Contacts

I currently remove my glasses and go in blind - haha! I do plan on getting contacts and riding with them though.

My wife wears those daily disposable ones. They cost peanuts so it's no big deal if she loses one.
Having said that I can only ever remember her having a problem once with one falling out.

Hey, Surf Patrol, Johnny etc. About two months ago I wrote a full-on post about surfing & sports with contact lenses, being a long-term lens wearer who's also tried the alternatives I think they're better than the various prescription sports glasses available (better preferal vision etc. how it's no drama & just go visit an Optomertrist who'll prescribe a suitable two weekly-monthly disposable lens system.
Guys, this question crops up every month or so, does it warrent something in a beginner guide or something???

Just a thought.

For the poster. Just go see an Optomertrist, they'll sort you out. I've never lost a lens yet, in fact on my past checkup the optomertrist reckoned some brands are so good now the "lipid"?? action of your eye will hold a lens on your eye....even if you do inadvertently fully open you eye(s) under water...yet to try that.

Good idea for the guides Brent - I'll get onto it.

Meanwhile here are a couple of the posts we have had on the subject.

i decided i'll just wear my contacts and hopefully they wont fall out! 2 month disposables so it would be too bad, but most people seem to say that there really isnt a problem
