Surfing in Sri Lanka

Postby Mutu » Wed Jul 21, 2004 6:52 pm

Hello ppl,

Could anybody give me some advice/info? I’ve got a holiday booked in February to Sri Lanka and want to take the opportunity to start surfing. I’ve been reading on various websites that the surf is not too bad in Sri Lanka, about a 2-3ft swell is usual. Does anybody know if there are any places that will teach me to surf? I’m staying on Bentota beach for a couple of weeks but will be traveling all around the coast line. Any advice/info would be greatly received. Cheers.
