Hi, Ive just dinged my 9' longboard and am not going to be able to repair it before I go out again, Ive been surfing just over a year and am standing up and doing small turns on the longboard, Ive have also got a 7' board which I'm now going to use, how much more difficult is it going to be to get up etc. Cheers

Is it a 7ft mini mal?

It'll take more effort to paddle, and you'll have to adjust your take off positioning. You should be able to get it worked out in a session a two.

And like soutwestsurfer is eluding to, if it's got a longboard type outline to it, it'll be easier than if it looks like a pointy shortboard.

My 7' board is short board style with a pointed nose, so will this make it harder?
