Surfing Waves

ok ive been surfing for about 3 weeks now
ive got the paddling down but when i try to
catch a wave i feel it pick me up and when
i go to stand up the board just sinks and the
wave passes or i get pummeled and washing
machined or it thros me over the falls

plz any advice would be greatly appriectiaed

what size board you using??? try scooting back a little if you are nose diving from the takeoff.

6'2 jb styles short board swallow tail i know dont learn on a surf board but it was all i could afford plus it had no damadge just pressure marks

how tall are u and how much do u way

im 5'6 or 5'5 -138 lbs and im fourteen

try, surfing some whitewash, and stay crouched wen u pop up.
