ok, theres this beach in Florida that has pretty good waves all the time but all the locals go there that are really good. how do you know when youre good enough to join them? i mean do you have to beable to do cutbacks and lots of tricks?

What beach in florida are you talking about? Who cares dont be a local just surf. I live in fl and there is NO waves normal over 5 ft. Enless theres a hurricane.

Narragansett beach in Rhode Island has some pretty nice waves for New England.

The ocean is there for everyone to enjoy and love.

As long as you are adhering to correct surfing etiquette there's no problem.

I would just be afraid of pissin ppl off. I mean if ur that good at something then someone comes along who really sucks u know that can kinda get annoying lol

Find a local surf shop and ask for advice where to go. Be honest about your ability and experience. They will steer you straight, it is in their best interest to do so.
