Lost norwegian

not sure where to start..but i live in norway, and i've only surfed twice in my life(newquay), but i would love to be better. the problem is that it dosn't exist any good surfing schools etc here. but when i finish college i'm off to study probably in australia near sidney i think, so do anyone knows about a surfing school or something which is near? and yeah, i need a board how do i know what to buy?
ps. sorry, for my english, i know my it's bad!
