depends what u mean knee boarding or dking - bodyboard style.

Dropknee on a body board basically means you place your leading foot forward with your back knee placed on the back so you are crouching with one foot flat and one knee back. Its a very high preformance style of riding on a bodyboard and it is very hard to master expecially if you are wearing swin fins. Dking is great fun and if done by someone competant it really has a lot of WOW to it.

Make no mistake dking on a bodyboard is vey difficult to do and requires a lot of practise.

Pigdog style? Where you go backhand and put your back knee kneeling and grab the outer rail of your board?

It just helps get barrels

If you ever fancy burning accross to North Wales I got a set of spare kit (inc fins) you could use to give it a crack.

I find DK riding increably rewarding, you can utilise the wave just as you would in prone stance but its a tottally different medium.

ahhhhh Variety!

I couldnt agree more. Riding dk you can preform all the same type tricks although an ellrollo might be a little challenging i think jeff hubb is the only one to preform it. Of course you can switch midway on a wave which is pretty cool so a dk 360 into a cutbck then switch for an ellrollo  only trouble is you need waves with sum umph in em to dk riding crappy mush doesnt do it justice then again doesnt do surfing justice either
