surfing montreal
Posted: Mon Jul 24, 2006 5:10 pmhi, im quite new at surfing. i went to costa rica last summer and tried surfing and i absolutely loved it!! i was happy i liked it seeing i was obsessed with it even before i tried it hehe. so im based in montreal and there's ONE wave we can ride here, except, seeing i cant even balance myself lying down on the board yet, im sortof scared to try and ride the Lachine canal. =S im part of this surf club that goes there all the time, but i somehow dont trust it much, id rather try out in the ocean on the coast. having said that, i was wondering if any first timers had ever tried surfing Habitat Wave in montreal and if yes, if you could tell me your experience with it. im seriously scared shitless of it..=S im also looking for easy access places to go to from montreal on the east coast so that i can go and practice there. thanx!
