Hi, I live in the Netherlands and I would love to learn to surf. Can anyone give me some tips on how / where to start? Thanx!

Hello, en onthaal aan de forums

Scheveningen is one of the best places to go, although depending on conditions you might find it quite tough, and if its a good day, its likely to be pretty crowded (surfers, windsurfers and kitesurfers). Watch out for the defence breaker too - if you get caught in the current you can get slammed against it pretty hard. Domburg and Camperduin are both supposed to be fairly good, but again, watch out for crowds and conditions. Not the best if you're just starting out.

Noordwijk is supposed to be quite learner friendly so you might wanna try there.

Geniet van de watertemperatuur ook, het was zeer koud in Augustus
