Stand further back, and put your weight on your rear foot.

is this before you stand up, or after you stand up?

Or trim??
Where is your weight when this happens?
Where are your feet when this happens?
Your centre of gravity has an influence on which part of your board digs in.
Is your arse out in classic poo stance?
Is your head up or are you looking at your feet?
Why do YOU think this is happening?? You actually have the best idea on what you need to do to fix aye...

Thats the fun part figuring it out.

I have a funboard of 7 ft long. This usually happens before I even TRY to stand up on the board. I tried staying further back on the board when I paddle but it still didn't work. Is is because when the waves pick me up, I tend to shift my weight forward? I dunno....

if you stay where you were on the board when you paddel, just lean back alot, arch your back

^^^^^ sounds like you're not curving your back enough -- don't be lazy otherwise you'll pearl it wave after wave & get frustrated.

i've had the same problem, would it help to use a deck grip, so that your feet are always placed on the same spot on the board?

It may have to do with positioning for the wave...
If you're not getting your paddling speed up and you're trying to take off too late you are going to have problems. When you see a wave you want you've got to paddle for it like your life depends on it.
