Hi Summteranian, welcome to Surfing Waves,
Take some time and have a read of the lessons on the main site. Pretty much all the basics from how to stand up through to a beginners surfing equipment guide are there. Once you have had a read come back with any specific questions and we'll see if we can get an answer for you.

What exactly do you need tips on - paddling/ getting up/ backside 360 aerials/ where to surf/ what to surf??
Let us know what you want to know, because surfing is a fairly big topic, as this site is testament to.!
