Hi, what does goofy foot mean? i heard it means if one foot is ahead of the other. I am right footed but i surf with my left foot in front, is that ok??! cheers, Norm.

Left foot in front is 'regular' and right foot in front is 'goofy'.

Clearly, (to get revenge for the 'goofy foot surfers' thread) from the names you can see that left foot forward is far far superior.

In actual fact there's nothing wrong with either - it's however you feel comfortable that counts.

I'm the same as you - right handed and regular
