Hi everyone,

I'm a long time Goofy surfer, but snowboarding and skating i'm Regular.
I tried to snowboard and skate Goofy and it was not comftoble.
Is it possible that i'm surfing with the wrong leg all those years?

here's a picture, I will be really glad if someone can tell me if there is anything wrong..

If you are having fun then it's all good. Nice wave .....depending on your speed and what you do looks like you might have gotten tubed right there

That's not unusual.
I used to surf regular but skate goofy - now I skate regular too, but only because I made a determined effort to change it so I could practise surfing on land 8)

Your stance, right foot at 3 o'clock and left foot at 1-2 o'clock is great if the board was pointed the other way. I would say that's more a Regular stance.

Don't know. Just do whatever works best for you. But were you a longtime snowboarder before you started surfing ? How's your cutbacks/turns in the Goofy stance ? What kind of performance maneuvers are you looking to attain ?

This is the weirdest question for me....jeezzzzz...one has to feel better than the other then just surf that way....I never chose my stance; it was always that way.....

Do this.....put on socks and go to a place in your house that has a slidey floor....tiles, wood, something.....run and then slide on the floor....whichever way, whatever foot forward you naturally slide is your stance....
