Hi,
I am not a surfer - I never tried it (just a little bit of wind-surfing) - so please pardon me, if I am using the wrong terminology.
I am a boardgame designer and currently I am working on a (rather abstract) surfer game.
I am searching for a title.
I would think a short but typical "surfer call" or "surver greeting" would fit best.
Any suggestions?
Heinrich

"la vida puro"
"swell", "a good swell", "a great swell", "swell swell" Lol

"board break"
I dunno,...

Yunno!
You already helped me.
What about "Waves!" - "Surf!" - "Super Surfer" - "Surfboarder" - something like that or names of places "Waikiki" (is this a surfer spot at all - ...don't know much about geography...
Thank's for any feedback

North Shore is the most surfed area I think. That and somewhere in Australia. I'm new, too.

Another good boardgame title would be "Wipeout!"

Nosferrari - I think you should try surfing, this would give you inspiration for the game and for the title!!
As regards suggestions - it's hard without making it sound cheesy.
If you want to appeal to real surfers you have to try and avoid stereotypes like 'dude' or 'whoooooaaaa'.
Something like 'Stoked' maybe - or the classic trick names?
'Hang Ten' - 'Five Toes Over' - 'Cutback'
or Conditions like
'8 to 10' - 'Offshore Glass' - 'Going Off'
or Wave types like
'Point Break', 'Reef break', 'Peeling',
Just a few ideas. It's easier to say what you should avoid really!!
