This made me laugh! Awesome video... on a more serious note >

I got serious problems with my duck dive on powerful bomb sets, 7/10 times i get thrown off my board and tumbled through the white wash... its knocking my confidence getting out on bigger days :(
Its just you and the heart beat of the earth, that moment when u take the drop nothing else matters your mind is completely free of all material thought processes. Your human.

At first I thought the swans just got in the wrong spot, but then they went back and did it again. Being able to fly would be a big help in the surf

As to duck diving, you need to eat more. If you were 90kg you would be fine...

But, seriously, you arent going deep enough if you are being knocked off. If you have played around in the surf without a board, you know that if you get deep enough under a wave then there is barely any turbulence - usually you only need to be 2-3 foot under. So you need to get down that far - maybe pushing down with the foot more or getting closer to the board once its under the water (hugging the board). If you can't get down deep enough but have good technique, because you dont weigh enough, then your only option is turtling

But its probably technique - not to be rude

This is from a photographer named Sarah Lee - looks like a bomb set but the surfer is fine
