this girl i went out with did have a problem with it... i think it was becasue since we live in nor-cal... the cold water makes it a problem... in addition to you paddling around on your chest... i can understand that they will be some discomfort...

isn't that annoying?! easily sorted though - you just have to arch your back harder when you're paddling than a man does. really hard work to begin with but once you grow some back muscles its fine.

another joy of womanhood is hip bruises - this pisses me off so much, i have permanent bruises over my hipbones, its so unsexy, guys never seem to suffer this :x

I get the rib bruises all the time.

K-mac - if the water's really cold you sometimes have to squeeze them back out of hiding!!

Ok, i understand that a chicks upper half may pose a problem.
However, you have to have some sympathy for guys - especially when its crammed into a wetsuit.
So just arch your back more and we will all be happy - chicks by not getting squashed boobs and guys because we get a better view of boobs.

haha omg i can't believe someone actually posted about this...goOd stuff.

You see friends...i am also a sufferer of the owie -boobie syndrome.

Petite at 5'2" with 32-DD did not seem like the ideal when I first started out, but I've worked around..ehm...above the problem.
Some tips: Wear a fitted rash gaurd, it compresses like a sports bra would.
The best tip is just getting used to arching you back more for paddling...your glutes and back muscles will kiiiill you at first, prepare for extra reliance/BRUISES on the floating ribs, but it's totally worth it...your surfing works out great, and according to a former boyfriend it developed a perpetually arched back and pokey little derriere. lol.
It works really well for the girls on the LocalMotion stickers...it just takes a little work and determination with reality in the water.

No, it is the farthest thing from cushioning...it hurts...like superbad. can't even sleep on my stomach without pillows or something, sleep on my side.

Oh ya, nothing quite as uncomfortable as rearanged and out of whack balls under a wetsuit. getting out of the wetsuit after a full days of surfing is almost as good as a full says surfing
