What's up guys, so i want to get back into surfing but it's been about 3-4 years and i've wanted to get back into surfing but specifically with a shortboard. I skate almost daily for the past 3 years and i've heard that it helps alot. What are your thoughts, should i get a shortboard or a longboard?

Well I could board regularly on a longboard in a matter of an hour, and the reason I switched it's cause I moved to San Antonio. And billie, it's a ton of fun, best of luck Man

Hey duck, I'm from San Antonio as well and skate and surf. Where were you surfing before moving here? A longboard or a super floaty hybrid fun shape is the call in Texas if you want to surf anything remotely close to regular. Skating helps but hunting down peaks and catching the choppy slop we get takes a while to get good at.
