He dude, yep its deffo gloves on weather now!

Go buy this... it needs to be tight enough, as in skin hugging so it doesn't swell up wth water inside. But too tight it will make your hands just as cold, esp the fingers.

Depending onhow you wear the arms of your suit, over the glove (wrist strap not too important. if your glove is going over your suit arm then a strap is more vital to stop wipeouts etc from flushing into your glove.

Cskins are doing nice 3mm ones at the mo. As are circle one.

Also one more thing, I've found that the ones with harder plastic coasting are nice for grip but it canes your eye when you wipe them. I looked like i'd been beeten up after a heavy session and eye wiping.
The dotted grip ones are very nice.. think its circle one that do thoese ones.

Hope this helps

I find gloves to be the most ineffective of all surf equipment. I have had a couple of pairs over the years and they just never seem to be any good. My hands really used to suffer over the winter.

I don't bother with them...even though my hands are naturally cold anyway (FREEZING and numb after a few hours of winter surfing.)

Boots are annoying enough to have on, I couldn't stand having gloves aswell...same goes for hoods. Bug the 'head' off me

My fingers used always be white when I came out from surfing. Few months ago, we started making very strong ginger n lemon tea. Fresh Ginger Really heats up the body. Make a flask of it, a few mugs of it b4 going in. My hands were much better, also a cup when your out, heats the body up quicker. Taken to putting a bag on the seat and getting changed in the car, with the heat on. Last wknd got a good thermal rash vest, and my hands were not cold for the 1st time. If your body and arms are hot enough, it'll help with the fingers. What are seal skinz things

their like light weight neoprene gloves that are like warm and... hmm... gloves I guess made for cold water activities that need fingers, like fishing and stuff so I think they would work.
