Im a college student and my dream has always been to learn how to surf. I dont care where it is, it just has to be mellow for beginners and have an awesome friendly vibe and people. I also want to relax and get away from Utah for a while. Wheres the best place to go? Waikiki? Im partial to Hawaii, but i heard theres nice mellow surfing in Portugal. Humidity kills me, so no place excessively humid please.
Thanks!

Hey
My opinion is France,
clear small breaks, very good for beginners, always warm, mild winters
and very nice!!

A great place for you to learn to surf would be Zed's Surfing Adventures in Barbados. It has everything you need a casual island vibe, beginner to world class breaks, fantastic weather all year and amazing, friendly staff. You will be up surfing in your first lesson and the skies the limit depending on you after that.Check out Barbadossurfholidays.com to book and trip central for reviews.Dont take my word for it read the reviews on those sites and hopefully I'll see you surfing out there sometime .All the best and good luck.

I would say the best place to learn to surf is Teahupoo, Tahiti. (Google it.)
