Where in Galveston TX area is the best to get a surfing lesson from?

No.. not a joke about the BP oil junk going on.. just a joke in general, since doesnt Texas do a LOT of production in that business?? Idk..

Just a joke.. it happens on forums a lot. It's okay.

When i go down to gavleston i do see a lot of oil rigs out there well i think thats what they are.

For a real answer: google surf shops in the area, any of them. Call them, all offer or know a surf school. I'm in Sandy Eggo so don't know any personally, but the surf shops are usually very reliable.

Next time you go to galveston, go to Ohana Surf and Skate or Underground off the seawall, they will give you the best advice on surfing down there, and Ohana probably has the best surf lessons, there team is pretty sick. Some of the better waves are by the Flagship off the seawall Hope to see you out there !
