Surfing Waves

Hi y'all,
just thinking of changing boards. Been riding a 9' 2" longboard and have gotten pretty comfortable with standing, turning etc. Want to take it to the next level and go for a shorter board. I'm considering a 7' 8", I'm 6' 1" and about 12.5 stone(180 pounds). Any ideas/opnions would be appreciated.

Now that you can surf ok (and if your fitness is ok) you can probably go down as far as a 6'8'' shortboard if you wanted to. Any surfboard bigger than that will be fine for you.
The choice is yours - you will have no problems with a 7'8''
