Prices of lessons

Hiya im deanne, im 16 and would love to surf, i rarely go to the beach as i do not have too good transport, i often body board, whenever i can, and i love it, one thing i am doing is moving to Miami florida in five years, and would like to learn to surf, i am wondering how much it costs, and how i can find someone to teach me??? please help, thanx D xx

go to a local surf shop... as to prices, it depends on your shop.

ok cheers, i will have to go into town, the three main surf shops we have in town are quicksilver, just add water, and roxy quicksilver, do you think that the name of the shop will change the price??? :roll:

Actually... yes. try just add water first... they might be cheaper.

Lessons in southern Ca were about $40-60 per hour.
