Now this is very cool. It is a surfing camp that also addresses the science & math that makes for surf. I'm not affiliated with this, but wanted to highlight it. The camps are held in the Ventura, CA, area.

Physics of Surfing Summer Camp
Want to strengthen your surfing and deepen your knowledge about the physical ocean? Open to beginning-intermediate surfers entering 6th, 7th,or 8th grade, our camp combines surfing with science and math instruction, offering students the ultimate experience in ocean knowledge. Surfers will measure, calculate, and analyze data to predict the best conditions for the different surf breaks we will be surfing throughout the week. Upper school math teacher* Kalyn Noe and former captain of the US Surf Team, Russell McClanan, invite you to come surf and learn with us this summer! 1% of proceeds will go to the Santa Barbara Surfrider chapter.
1 week sessions, 9am-3pm: June 22-26
June 29-July 3, July 20-24
August 3-7, August 10-14
**Space is limited! 10 campers max per session**
Location: Between Hammonds and C-Street, TBA daily depending on best conditions
Cost: $500/camper, $800/pair of siblings
